Todays Emerson Hart video is Green Hills Race For California. Thanks to guitarman2214 for the video!
Another great outtake from Emerson’s Jammin Java show talking about his first kiss. Thanks to Irislyn for the video!
Emerson Hart @ World Cafe Live preforming Devastation Hands. Video from njotiban.
Was listening to this song this morning and I had to post the video for it. Love…Love…LOVE this song!
Sorry I’ve neglected this…migraines stink!
Anyway, this song means the world to me right now…what song of his doesn’t. Also talked to another Emerson Hart fan at a recent Matt Nathanson show…always nice to see I am not alone in my fandom!

Since this blog is (believe it or not) about more than my need to meet Emerson Hart, I thought I would sticky a link to all the posts that are related to him. For some crazy (and yet sweet and endearing) reason, some people have actually started visiting my site to see all of the Emerson Hart videos and my progress on trying to meet him. So for you guys, you can click here or use the pages to the left and only read EH related posts. For those who want to hear about my life, work, other bands and politics (and EH)…newer entries are below this post.
I was hoping to find a video of Irish or Celtic Aggression from his Tonic days, but I couldn’t. Damn. Anyway, here Emerson Hart at Jammin Java…video by r0ckb0at.
Maybe it’s an Irish them, I don’t know. First Damien Rice, now a cover of a U2 classic…which of course will be followed by an Emerson Hart video. Anyway….
I wish I had found and posted this sooner. Visiting a Damien Rice fansite, I found this truly inspiring cover of U2’s Pride (In The Name Of Love). John Legend covered this song for the 40th Anniversary of the death of Martin Luther King Jr. It’s nothing short of amazing. Seriously, is there a better U2 song? Is there a better voice than John Legend? No and no.
I’m obviously an avid Barack Obama supporter and I truly believe that he is a man destined for great things. Watching this made me remember, while he may be a rising star, he is only that, a rising star. I think we (Obama supporters) can so wrapped up in the “what can be” that we tend to forget that he has miles and miles to go before he ever can start to fill the shoes of someone as great as MLK.
