As I think about things to say about myself, I am at a loss of things to say. It’s not that I find my life boring; while others may not be excited about it, I quite enjoy it.

I guess I can first say is that I am a happily married woman. My husband, Rodney, and I married nearly 10 years ago and we have an eight year old son Eli. We now reside in Richmond, VA after moving here from Kansas. We have two dogs and one hamster and love to take road trips to the beach.

As for me, I am an aspiring photographer. Right now my main focus is concert photography, but I also enjoy photographing old buildings and structures. It’s something I take seriously and I greatly enjoy my time behind the lens; I’m hoping it’s something that I will eventually make a living out of doing.

I also created an independent music website/blog. With the help of some great staff, I’ve gotten the chance to meet and interview some of my favorite bands.  Unfortunately, my day job has cut into most of the time I had to devote to the site and it’s suffered because of this. It’s not closed; it’s just not updated quite as regularly as I would like.

As for the day job, I’m a supervisor for a small not for profit organization. I like the end product of my job, but the job itself isn’t the most exciting. But all in all, it is fulfilling and there are a lot of people who can not say that about their jobs.

Anyway, I’m not sure what else to say…I’m sure there’s more, but it’s alway been difficult for me to do these bio pages. I guess most people do.
